The Market Map organizes published Key Zones for the selected symbol and trading session so you can see the areas worth monitoring before price reaches them.
1. Start with the symbol and session
Confirm the symbol you are reviewing, such as NQ or ES, and make sure you are viewing the intended session. The Current view represents the newest published Daily Market Map available in KeyLevel IQ.
Recent-session buttons are historical references. They can help you review prior behavior, but they are not the current map.
2. Treat each zone as an area, not an exact tick
A zone may be displayed as a range or a single published value. In either case, the useful concept is the area. Markets can test, enter, pass through, or react around an area without touching one exact price perfectly.
EXAMPLEResistance Zone · 6500.00 – 6505.00
Monitor how price behaves as it approaches and trades around the area. Do not assume 6500.00 itself must create a reversal.
3. Use the zone label as context
Customer-facing labels such as Support, Resistance, Reaction, Upper, or Lower help organize where the area sits in the market map. They are reference descriptions, not guarantees about what price will do next.
4. Find the nearest relevant areas
Before the session or before a trade setup develops, identify which published zones are closest to current market context. This reduces the need to make up important areas in the moment.
What is the nearest zone above price?
What is the nearest zone below price?
Is price already inside a published area?
Is the map current, or are you intentionally reviewing history?
Key idea: The map tells you where to pay attention. Price behavior and your own trading rules determine what you do with that information.
